Best known for the Vietnam Memorial, created at age 21, Maya Lin has been creating monuments, buildings, sculptures and installations since she graduated from Yale University. Last year, a collection of her newest pieces, "Systematic Landscapes" was shown at the DeYoung Museum and one of her pieces is on permanent display at the Academy of Sciences.
